Ministry of Care

Those involved in this ministry remember in their daily prayers the specific needs of parishioners, the Church and the world. Anyone of any age can be involved in this prayer ministry. Participants receive a monthly newsletter containing various prayer requests and suggestions for prayer.

Bereavement Ministry

Bereavement Ministry extends compassion, hope and love to those in our parish who have experienced a loss through death. This ministry provides luncheons to the bereaved after the funeral Mass and burial, and sends cards of condolence to family members. A bereavement support group, "Journey Toward Hope" is held once a week for 6-8 weeks yearly or as needed by our parish community.

Mass of Remembrance

This liturgical celebration is normally held on All Soul's Day, November 2, each year. Within the context of the Mass, those present remember their loved ones who have died in prayer, song and lighting candles of remembrance. A reception of fellowship usually follows in the parish hail.

Ministry to the Sick and Homebound

Ministry to the Sick and Homebound provides cheer and well wishes through cards, small gifts and visitations to sick and homebound parishioners. The Eucharist is brought on a regular basis to those unable to attend Mass.
